This tablet can easily replace a computer, especially if you do not perform any professional tasks on it. The desktop in the Samsung Galaxy Tab S4 10.5 is implemented in an unusual way: the user is provided with a multi-window mode, a taskbar and a file drag and drop function. It was created using a 14 nm process technology, so you don’t have to expect strong heating. There is also 8 GB of RAM hidden under the tablet body. As for the permanent memory, it is 128 GB. This, of course, will not be enough, so stock up on a memory card, the slot for which is not forgotten here.

The front panel of this device houses a 10.1-inch diagonal display with a resolution of 1800×1200 pixels. It’s nice that the buyer can expect not only a good picture, but also high-quality stereo sound. If you want to use headphones, they are connected to a 3.5 mm audio jack. Well, the charger is connected via a proprietary connector. USB Type-C is also available here, but it is used to connect peripherals.

The resolution of the 10.5-inch IPS display installed here is 2224x1668 pixels. As a result, every inch of this screen area consists of 264 pixels. Not bad, it’s rare that a tablet with such a large display can boast a higher pixel density. It should be noted that photographs look perfect on this screen. Especially if a DSLR or flagship smartphone was used to create them. As for the camera built here, its 8-megapixel resolution is not enough to get an ideal result. There is also a front camera, its resolution is 7 megapixels.

As for Bluetooth, the Chinese saved money on it; the tablet only understands the fourth version of this standard.

As its name suggests, this device involves regular playback of media files. In this regard, it is not at all surprising that there are loud stereo speakers here. If you want to use headphones, there will be some problem. There is simply no 3.5mm jack here. But the kit includes an adapter, thanks to which the headphones are connected to the USB Type-C socket. Using the same connector, the battery is recharged, the capacity of which reaches 7500 mAh.

The remaining technical characteristics of the tablet computer include 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of permanent memory. For photography, a relatively good 13-megapixel camera is used here. The tablet also has a front camera with a resolution of 8 megapixels.

By the way, Android 9.0 is responsible for what happens on the display. And there is no doubt that the tablet will soon receive an update in the form of the tenth version of this operating system.

We recommend that you purchase the option with 64GB of built-in storage. Of course, you may need to download a large number of movies and music, for which this volume will not be enough. But there is a slot for a memory card, so the problem is easily solved. The product also received 4 GB of RAM. This is even enough to keep two applications open on the screen at the same time. There are no problems here with the processor, which uses a powerful eight-core solution from Qualcomm.

If you buy the version we are considering, you will be able to access the Internet outside the premises. However, if this is not required, it is better to save money by choosing the option without the LTE module. Other connectivity standards supported by the tablet include Bluetooth 5.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11ac. If we talk about a wired connection, then the USB Type-C connector is used for this. Unfortunately, not only the charger is connected to it, but also headphones. Yes, there is no mini-jack here, but it is possible that it was by eliminating it that the thickness of the gadget was reduced to 5.5 mm.

Modest dimensions and 400 gram weight could indicate a low battery capacity. But no, here this parameter is 7040 mAh. If there is an AMOLED screen, this means that the tablet will be able to function on a single charge for one and a half to two days, unless the operating mode is too active.

This model runs Android 8.1. This operating system is powered by a very powerful Snapdragon 660, consisting of eight computing cores and an Adreno 512 graphics accelerator. Also hidden under the metal case are 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of permanent memory. Impressive volume! Compared to this, the memory card slot seems unnecessary.

This tablet allows you to access the Internet while being somewhere on the street. But much more often, the owner of the device will use Wi-Fi 802.11ac. The wireless modules present here also include Bluetooth 5.0. I'm glad that you can connect headphones using a wired method, because there is a 3.5 mm audio jack, which many other manufacturers of such gadgets refuse. The USB Type-C socket has not been forgotten, the wire into which is inserted only the first time.

Once upon a time, only smartphones had a fingerprint scanner. Now this sensor is included in most tablets, the cost of which exceeds 20 thousand rubles. It is available, as already mentioned, in the MiPad 4 Plus. If using it seems inconvenient, you can rely on facial scanning.

The main disadvantage of the latest Xiaomi creation is its heavy weight. The Chinese saved money, and therefore they could not build in the most lightweight components. Of course, in such small “tablets” it does not work the best. You will definitely experience slowdowns, because it is impossible to place decent hardware in such a tablet computer. But such devices cost very little money. In particular, for the HP x2 10 Z8350 they are asking 28 thousand rubles.

This tablet differs from other representatives of our review in that it comes with a QWERTY keyboard. Many other models reviewed also support it, but they are sold without it. Thus, the creators of the HP x2 10 Z8350 say that their creation is ideal for people who regularly type large amounts of text.

The processor installed here is a quad-core Intel Atom x5 Z8350. Experts will say that its power is barely enough for the stable operation of the Microsoft operating system. These words are also true in relation to RAM, the volume of which is only 4 GB. As for the permanent memory, its volume has been increased to 64 GB. Unfortunately, Windows 10 takes up too much space, so the tablet owner will have to immediately stock up on a capacious microSD card.

The picture here is displayed on an IPS display, the diagonal of which is the standard 10.1 inches. The resolution is deliberately reduced to 1280×800 pixels. This is done so that the processor does not strain too much. Don't forget that nothing can help him, there is no video card here.

This model sounds very good, it can please you with full-fledged stereo speakers. But photography is the weakest point of the tablet, since the product has very modest cameras. But the device has a 3.5 mm audio jack and micro-HDMI. The latter serves to display the image on an external monitor. But you definitely won’t do this, since the hardware installed here cannot handle image processing at a higher resolution.

This tablet does not include an LTE module. Therefore, you will only be able to access the Internet using Wi-Fi 802.11ac and other versions of this standard. For example, there is no point in buying a Lenovo Tab 4 Plus for 17 thousand rubles, but a 20 percent discount will make the purchase more reasonable.

This tablet computer is made in the old style. This means its 10.1-inch display has a very wide bezel. There was even a place under the screen for a physical button that could scan a fingerprint. The screen here is made using IPS technology, so you can count on maximum viewing angles. Its resolution is 1920×1200 pixels. Not much, but what else could you expect from such an inexpensive “pill”?

As we already said, this tablet was released quite a long time ago. In 2017, to be more specific. Therefore, it is not surprising that the Android 7.0 operating system is installed here. Alas, we can only dream of much more recent versions of the “green robot”. I'm glad that at least the processor housed here cannot be called obsolete. The Snapdragon 625 still has enough power for most applications and even games. And the 14-nanometer technical process used in production allows us to hope for low power consumption.

The bottleneck here is 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB of permanent memory. And if you can put up with the first, the volume of the second forces you to immediately insert a microSD card. Someone else will not be satisfied with the rear and front cameras, the resolution of which is 8 and 5 megapixels, respectively. But such tablets are not intended for beautiful photography. The presence of stereo speakers is much more important to them. And they are here, which is good news. With their help you can listen not only to MP3 music, but also to the built-in FM radio. Headphones connected to the 3.5 mm audio jack will act as an antenna.

The tablet can easily handle receiving and transmitting large amounts of data over wireless networks. It defines the LTE and Wi-Fi 802.11ac standards. There is also built-in support for Bluetooth 4.2, which is mainly needed to connect a wireless headset.

Finally, we note a number of shortcomings. The tablet computer from Lenovo turned out to be quite heavy. Holding a 475-gram device in your hands to watch a movie is still a pleasure. And not everyone will like the body made of plastic.

The savings are also noticeable in terms of memory space. Not only will the owner of the “tablet” have to get a microSD card, but the Android 8.0 operating system regularly suffers from a lack of RAM.

It's surprising that the manufacturer was generous with a very powerful processor. It is powered by the eight-core Kirin 659. At certain moments, its clock frequency reaches 2360 MHz. The only pity is that a 16-nanometer process technology was used to create it, which is why the chip cannot be called energy efficient.

The most important advantage of the tablet is its excellent set of wireless modules. The “tablet” will provide LTE communication, and will understand the high-speed Wi-Fi standard 802.11ac. Well, Bluetooth 4.2 is used to connect a wireless headset. However, it is much easier to listen to music using the built-in stereo speakers. There is also a 3.5 mm audio jack. This is good news, because it has started to disappear from some new tablet computers.

Unfortunately, the remaining characteristics of the device evoke only negative emotions. For example, one cannot help but be confused by the 460-gram weight. Some people will be even more disappointed by the micro-USB port, because now they want to get a more modern interface. The cameras here are also outdated; it would be better if they were absent altogether. Well, the capacity of the battery installed here has been increased only to 5100 mAh. Usually such a battery is built into much smaller tablets!
